Drying: When you get home from your workout, immediately hang up your workout clothes until they’re dry or you’re ready to put a load of washing on. UV rays from the sun can both fade and break down the fibres in your suit, shade dry your performance wear. Don’t put them in the dryer or iron them.
Washing: You don’t want a washing machine to beat up delicate performance fabrics too much, and you also don’t want to expose them to high heat, which can destroy the fibres. To keep your athletic clothes effective for longer, wash them in cold water and opt for the gentle cycle. Don’t use fabric softeners. Never use bleach to whiten or remove stains.
Storing: Keep your sportswear in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Avoid damp environments to prevent mold and mildew growth. Fold your sportswear neatly or hang it to prevent wrinkles and creases. Store sportswear separately from everyday clothing to avoid fabric pilling and damage.
